The judgments of the Eternal are true;
all of them are righteous.
Words more desirable than gold –
even more precious than pure gold –
these teachings are sweeter than honey,
sweeter than the dripping honeycomb.
Your servant needs to heed these words;
obedience brings its reward.
Who can discern their own errors?
Clear me of guilt,
and keep me from intentional sins;
don't let them rule me
then I will be blameless,
innocent of grave offence.
May these words of my mouth
and the prayer of my heart,
be acceptable to you, Holy One,
my Ground of Being,
my Redeemer.
