Psalm 14

Inattentive hearts say, “There is no godde.”
These are discouraged hearts, insensible to Godde’s love,
unable to perceive gracious action.

The Eternal One studies mortals
looking to find wisdom; The Holy One is attentive
to those who seek Godde.

All have turned aside. All are infused with doubt.
There is not one who understands goodness, not even one.

Isn't this the height of ignorance –
to consume bread
which comes from the One we have not called upon?

We dwell in fear, yet Godde draws near, even in this generation.

Our callous attitudes toward those who are afflicted

reek of betrayal,
but the Eternal One is their refuge.

Contemplate the salvation that comes from Mount Zion!
When Godde redeems the people, rejoice and be glad!
